Baseball:
Stephen Bishop initially played as a baseball player for the Highlanders in 1991–1992 season in his college. After that, he was signed as a free agent by Atlanta Braves and played in 20 games in the Pioneer League in 1993. Later on, he played for the Sioux Falls Canaries and the St. Paul Saints who were participating in the Northern League. Lastly, he played for Baltimore Orioles in 1995. It shows that he had a rather short career in baseball.
Acting: After a fruitless baseball career, he switched to acting. He consequently made his screen debut in 2003’s The Road Home as Tyrell Hunt. After that, he worked on a number of hit films, including Moneyball, Safe House, and Battleship. He is now portraying Bravo in the television series Imposters. |
