Pink has released the music video for her latest song, ‘Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken’.
Directed by Sasha Samsonova, the black and white visual is simple yet stunning. You can feel every inch of emotion from Pink during the performance piece, with her powerful movements highlighting the importance of the song lyrically. The video also features an adorable cameo from her daughter Willow.
Alongside the video, Pink is encouraging fans to support UNICEF’s global mission by making a donation. Having seen the work they do first hand following a visit to Haiti, the singer is a proud ambassador and wants to support and empower women and children in order to provide them with a brighter future.
Speaking about her work, Pink said: “As a UNICEF Ambassador, I am proud to work with an organization that supports and empowers women and children around the world. In honor of this incredible organization, in honor of this video for ‘Wild Hearts’ and in honor of girls and woman all over the world standing up for themselves, I am going to be making a donation in all of your names to this wonderful organization and I encourage you to do the same if the spirit moves you.”

The release of the video follows Pink’s epic performance of the song at the 60th GRAMMY Awards on Sunday. The GRAMMYs garnered negative attention this year after the ceremony was dominated by men. To add insult to injury, when questioned about the criticism, Recording Academy president Neil Portnow told Variety that women in music need to “step up.”
Since then, many female artists have rightfully hit back including Pink. In an open handwritten letter on Twitter, the songstress said: “Women in music don’t need to ‘step up’ — women have been stepping since the beginning of time. Stepping up, and also stepping aside. Women OWNED music this year. They’ve been KILLING IT. And every year before this.”
“When we celebrate and honor the talent and accomplishments of women, and how much women STEP UP every year, and how much women STEP UP every year, against all odds, we show the next generation of women and girls and boys and men what it means to be equal, and what it looks like to be fair.”
2017, more so than ever, saw female artists at the top of their game. The likes of Pink, Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Dua Lipa, Camila Cabello, Ariana Grande, Halsey, Lorde, Kesha, Alessia Cara, Selena Gomez, Little Mix, Fifth Harmony, SZA, Cardi B, Julia Michaels, Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, Lana Del Rey and many more all had a superb year and should be celebrated to the maximum for their incredible achievements.
We can’t wait to see Pink in action once more when she performs the National Anthem at the Super Bowl this Sunday (February 4).
